My Heartiest welcome and warm invitation to you all for attending the 78^th Reunion (Matiya 78) from the 29^th to 31^st January 2012.
It is with great joy and anticipation that we sound the bugle for our annual homecoming at Medical College Kolkata. True to our hallowed traditions, the 78th Annual Reunion of the Medical College Ex Students association will take place from 28th to 31st January 2012 at the evergreen campus of our alma mater.

We look forward to your arrival and participation with heartfelt eagerness.

The 78^th Re-Union session will commence from 29^th January, 2012. Once again it is time to celebrate. Along with the regular scientific seminars, here will also be certain non-medical deliberations during the reunion.
Please don't miss the tea party on the 29^th of January. The regular drama sessions will also be held. So please make sure that you don't miss out on the fun. For more details click on the link below:

Invitation from the Scientific Sub Committee of 78^th Reunion

*Abstract within 200 words from alumni who have graduated on or after 1997 for the Competative Short Paper Session to reach MCESA before 1st January 2012 for Dr Sukumar Mukherjee award ( two best speakers)

*For alumni who have graduated before 1997 similar abstract for non competative short paper session

*Abstract within 200 words from alumni pursuing internship, house-staffship or post graduation for junior doctor's symposium. Dr D.P. Basu and U.P. Basu and Dr M.A.Wali awards will be presented to the three best speakers.

*Abstract within 200 words for the present students' symposiumby 1st January 2012 ( details at MCESA Office) for two best speakers for Dr C.S.Dawn awards

*Participation in the Overseas Session from Alumni residing abroad

Entertainment Committee awards

There will be the usual entertainment sessions some of them with awards and competitions.
Dr Rajen Roy Choudhury Memorial Awards will be awarded for Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor
